This was born from me wanting a chocolate milkshake, but still wanting to feed my "vetus" (what Chloé Jo calls a vegan fetus) a healthy snack. I have one of these before bed about 4 nights a week and when I have one, I only wake up 3 times instead of 12! Extremely high in antioxidants, protein, and yuminess, this is a winner.
Makes one serving
1 cup rice milk (or almond or hemp or soy, etc..)
1 frozen banana (the texture will be better if the banana is frozen)
1⁄2 cup frozen blueberries
1⁄3 cup walnuts (2 big palmfuls)
1 Tbsp cacao nibs
1⁄2 Tbsp maple syrup or 1 pitted date
2 Tbsp chocolate Hemp Protein Powder
1 Tbsp regular Hemp Protein Powder
Starting with the milk, mix in blender until smooth.
